If You Believe Doing Any Work On Speculation Isn't For You; Don't Do It. If You Want
More Opportunities to Get Paid; Get Involved...-HFD-RSS-15px-b.png)

speculation if they don't want to. We did some digging
around and it turns out no designer has ever been forced to
do any work on speculation. Doing work on speculation is
100% voluntary and has the potential to be extremely rewarding. In early 2009 LG posted
a massive creative design project on
crowdSPRING worth $80,000.00 in total payouts. That's

People who are serious about No Spec! (they oppose doing
creative work on speculation) have a valid gripe and we can

devote several days of hard work to a design project that
ends up being rejected; it's a monumental waste of effort,
talent and time.
The pivotal component is time. Almost all
designers have spare time, free time, down time and time to
experiment. When a designer devotes only a few hours of free
time to a creative project; rejection is no big loss. On
the bright side; when a designer devotes only a few
hours of spare time to a project that gets accepted, they
make good money from just a few hours of their time. Who
doesn't have a little free time? Time spent playing games or
working on puzzles can be put to better use...
